The Blues & Royals were formed in 1969 when the Royal Horse Guards (The Blues) amalgamated with the 1st Royal Dragoons. In 1992 the Blues & Royals became part of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment. For more information about the Blues & Royals please see the links at the bottom of the page.
