| | About Us | | Debra Raymond Military Figures & Gifts Over the past decade Debra Raymond Military Figures & Gifts has developed from a hobby into a flourishing small business. I first started painting military figures as a teenager when my father introduced me to the pastime and I have been painting commercially available resin and white metal kits to commission for many years.
In 2001, frustrated with the lack of good quality figures from British manufacturers, I decided to diversify into the supply of white metal and resin kits. Combining my skills as a painter with the kit production also means that I can now supply hand painted figures of my own, and a range of 1/9th scale busts of which I am extremely proud. I am still happy to paint kits made by other manufacturers to commission but please bear in mind that figures are easily damaged in transit no matter how well packed. For this reason I prefer to meet customers to hand over painted figures personally, or send them painted for you to assemble. I probably feature on many a CCTV tape, doing "deals" in car parks, lay bys and motorway service stations up and down the country!
After finding some other military products which I simply couldn't resist, the giftware side of the business began in May 2004. The emphasis remains very much on quality but products are now available from Debra Raymond Military Figures & Gifts to suit all pockets.
Since 1997 I have been assisted in my endeavours by Bridget, an accountant during office hours and an enthusiastic but amateur webmaster until all hours. She also helps me at shows and fayres but admits to being unable to paint a wall let alone a military figure!
I hope you like the website and that you will return to see the new products as they are added in the future.
Debbie
