Here's a picture of three young men who took part in the Northern Ireland Veterans Parade in London on 10th September 2008.  I am extremely proud to say that all three were wearing their Light Infantry Northern Ireland Veteran pin badges.  For more information about the day please see http://www.mod.uk/defenceinternet/defencenews/historyandhonour/northernirelandvetstheirday.htm

Military House

by Debbie 8/2/2008 11:18:00 AM

Things are finally moving a pace with the re-location of the business.  Our new business premises are just off the Honiton Road (almost opposite the Mole Valley Farmers turning), still in Cullompton, at Military House.  The building used to be the offices of the Devon Growers nursery which any locals of a certain age will remember!    Although I do not plan to run it as a shop exactly it will enable me to welcome visitors more easily.

I am planning to have an official opening  in the next month or so, so as many people as possible will know where we are and what sort of services we can offer.

It would be nice to see you there!

Welcome to our Blog.

Welcome to the Blog of Debra Raymond Military Figures & Gifts!

With the launch of our new website we hope to make your browsing experience more pleasurable. As with any new project their might be issues along the way so if you can think of anything which would make your experience easier then please let us know. Whilst we can't promise to implement all of your suggestions we will consider any and all suggestions which are made. As always, if you can't see what you are looking for on the website, please email Deb@militaryfigures.co.uk.  A regiment may be "gone" but it is never "forgotten" - we are bringing out products for regiments long since amalgamated all the time.

In conjunction with the launch of our new website is of course the launch of this new Blog. The aim of the Blog is to act as a tool for passing information about Debra Raymond Military Figures & Gifts to you our customers. Deb will be letting you know about her latest painting projects giving you as many top tips as she can think of to help budding modellers to improve your work.  We will be using the blog to let you know about new products, shows that we have attended or are going to attend and just about anything else we think would be of interest to you.

If you are new to blogs then I would encourage you to eheck back regularly to find out what is going on. You can subscribe to our RSS feed and receive automatic updates when new posts are added. As we are also new to blogging we promise to try to make things as interesting as possible.  We would appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for reading my first ever blog.  Oh, and if you have seen us at a show, I'm the tall one with specs!
