Military Figure Painting Commission - Colonel of Grenadiers, Imperial Guard 1859

This latest commission piece is another from the Metal Models 54mm range. This one sculpted by Michel Saez is a Colonel of Grenadiers from the Imperial Guard 1859. This is a time that saw the French Forces of Napoleon III allied to the Italians against the Austrians in the second war of Italian independence. Read more ....

Latest military figure painting commission

I’ve just finished this nice little military figure of a French Zouave from the Crimean period released by Metal Models. These are sculpted by Bruno Leibovitz , who many of you will remember from his days with Le Cimier, in France. As with all of Bruno’s pieces it is a subtle, beautifully observed figure, this one from his 54mm range.
