Military Figure Painting Commission - Colonel of Grenadiers, Imperial Guard 1859

This latest commission piece is another from the Metal Models 54mm range. This one sculpted by Michel Saez is a Colonel of Grenadiers from the Imperial Guard 1859. This is a time that saw the French Forces of Napoleon III allied to the Italians against the Austrians in the second war of Italian independence. Read more ....

HMS Thermoplyae

When I was kid my father had a model of the English Tea Clipper named Thermoplyae, and as I don't recall us sinking it I guess he still has. I didn't expect to be taking pride in creating HMS Thermoplyae shields back then. Funny how things turn out.
