The 9th/12th Royal Lancers (Prince of Wales’s) were formed in 1960 on the amalgamation of the 9th (Queen’s Royal) Lancers and the 12th (Prince of Wales’s Royal) Lancers. The 9th/12th Royal Lancers is a current regiment in the British Army.
