Duke of Wellington's Regiment
The Duke of Wellington's (West Riding) was formed in 1881 on the amalgamation of the 33rd (Duke of Wellington's) and the 76th Regiment. The Duke of Wellington's (West Riding) was later re-badged as the Duke of Wellington's Regiment. In 2006 the Duke of Wellington's Regiment amalgamated with the Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire and the Green Howards to form The Yorkshire Regiment, which is the current regiment.
