The Royal Warwick Fusiliers was created on the renaming of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment in 1963. The regimental badge was not changed, hence the absence of any reference to fusiliers in the design. In 1968 the Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers became part of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, which is a current regiment of the British Army.
