Debra Raymond Military Figures & Gifts
Debra Raymond Military Figures and Gifts started trading in about 1996 although Deb has been
painting for more years than she now cares to remember. Initially the business sold only painted
military figures. In 2001 it branched out into the supply of extremely high quality white metal
and resin kits, purchasing the remaining back catalogue of world-class sculptor David Grieve and
working with David and other sculptors such as Nick Dransfield and Mark Bibby on new pieces.
The giftware side of the business began in May 2004, quietly at first with products purchased
from wholesalers. Later the decision was taken to try to obtain a licence from the Ministry of
Defence to make our own products and, after a successful application, production began in 2005.
We are now pleased to be supplying private individuals, Regimental Associations, PRI shops,
museums (including the National Army Museum and the Guards Museum) and the Royal Marines Bands
at Plymouth, Portsmouth and Lympstone (CTC). Ever conscious of the importance of our military
history, we are continually working on new products for various regiments and units, including
those that have long since been amalgamated.
In 2006 we looked for pin badges to sell to help to raise money for SSAFA – Forces Help.
Unable to find any British Support Our Troops items we created our own, with a nod to a design
used after an earlier conflict with the words Comrades of the Great War. We are proud to be
supporting our current and ex servicemen and women, wherever they may be and in whatever
circumstances they find themselves through regular donations to SSAFA – Forces Help.
We hope that you enjoy the website and that you will return to see the new products as they
are added in the future.
